6 Weeks To A Century Training Plan

Prior to beginning this training plan, you must be able to complete a 20-mile ride in under 1 hour and 50 minutes.

The long rides below are essential for learning your body’s food and water requirements, as well as gaining the mental toughness to complete an all-day ride.

Week 1: 3 Rides @ 1 hour and 1 Ride @ 2 hours

Week 2: 2 Rides @ 1.5 hours and 1 Ride @ 2.5 hours

Week 3: 2 Rides @ 1 hours and 1 Ride @ 3 hours

Week 4: Hill Repeats @ 30 minutes, 1 Ride @ 1.5 hours, 1 Ride @ 3 hrs

Week 5: Hill Repeats @ 40 minutes, 1 Ride @ 1.5 hours, 1 Ride @ 3 hrs

Week 6: Hill Repeats @ 30 minutes, complete an easy 30 minute ride, and do another 20 minutes of hill repeats. Cool Down for 10 minutes. 1 Easy Ride @ 1 hours

Total training time required: 22 hours and 40 minutes
